I also find it simply AMAZING how many tracks there are to this song. How much didn't make the mix? How much is in it but so subtle that you don't notice it?

X-Men: First Class was NOT AT ALL LIKE this. Well, aside from deviating from the comcis a lot, it brought in some very cool aspects -- setting it in the 1960s, using characters that were essentially true to their counterparts as far as personalities go. Powers and what the did may have been tweaked, but it all came out really well.

Some of the odd ball decisions -- like Azazel, Mystique and Xavier's relationship, including the Angel with the insect wings -- I wasn't too fond of but, that can all be forgiven because the movie was a blast. X3 shouldn't have been done without Bryan Singer or Matthew Vaughn (who was supposed to take over for Singer when he left). I wish they would have just let it ride until now, even forgoing Wolverine: Origins which should have ended 3/4ths through the movie -- with him escaping into the wild and going feral instead of all that adamantite bullet/deadpool BS.

First class was fantastic. The cameo was hilarious, spot on, too. I enjoyed the characters used. Wished there was more of Darwin as well as Banshee...and some ellusion to Alex's brother. Having said all that, I wish they had put something in at the very end, like most marvel movies. Save some time and don't watch all the credits. Maybe just see the movie again :)

New webhost -- Squarespace

Just moved to Squarespace.com to host my website.

I love their stuff.

When I'm feeling like crap, I usually throw on "Faithless." I absolutely LOVE this song. I don't know what it is, but no matter how crappy I feel, how bad the day is going, it always picks me up. Makes me a little more optimistic.

Mike Ness's voice has a deep sense of history to it and I get the feeling that he's lived almost everything he sings about...maybe not the exact subject matter in some cases. I always get the feeling he's singing from his heart and it's evident in all the really great Social Distortion songs.

Go out and snag "Love, Sex, and Rock & Roll", "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes", "White Light, White Heat, White Trash"...heck any of their albums. Here's a link to Faithless on Youtube.

I know a girl who warns the dangers of love
all the pain and the anguish, the sorrow that it brings
she keeps herself in a world that's protected
her outsides are tough
but inside her heart longs to sing

[Chorus:]
Don't let your walls down
You might fall in love,
You might fall in love

He's gonna get his girlfriend's name tattooed on his neck
and hope he never, never lives to regret
he's gonna walk down that long, dark alley
and what he finds there you know he'll never forget

[Chorus:]
Don't let your walls down
You might fall in love,
You might fall in love
They're crashing down now,
You might fall in love

I remember a time I believed
that the words love and pain were both one in the same
I'm gonna trade in my old ways for a new shot at life
I'm gonna change, change my direction
I'm gonna change my ways

[Chorus:]
Don't let your walls down
You might fall in love,
You might fall in love
They're crashing down now
It's you I'm thinking of,
It's you I'm thinking of
Let's fall in love
